A tutorial contains learning material by the course "Geodesy" for first-year students of geodetic speciality. The main focus of this tutorial is studying of students of the organization principles of geodetic works, the methods for solving tasks using topographic maps and instruments, the methods of angular and linear measurements of technical accuracy, the basics of the topographical surveys and post-processing of the geodetic measurements. The directions of the development of modern geodetic measurements, the use of satellite positioning methods are determined.

A tutorial can be useful for students of other specialities who study geodesy and basics of topography.

LAND MANAGEMENT. VOLUME 1. LEGISLATION

A tutorial has been prepared within the framework of the international project Tempus IV «Development of New Land Governance Studies in Macedonia and Ukraine» ("LAGOS") 159184-2009-TEMPUS-SE-JPCR in the period from 15.01.2010 year till 14.01.2013 year.

A tutorial includes three sections.

Section I is dedicated the system of current legislation acts. Regulation subject of acts is the relationship on a particular subject – real estate. The basic legal institutions of the law regarding real estate: the objects and subjects of civil rights, property rights and ownership, eligible responsibilities, civic responsibility, different types of contracts in relation to real estate are shown.

Section II focuses on the process of managing the use and development of land resources (urban and rural). The theoretical, scientific, organizational and legal principles of public land policy, land management and land administration are considered. The particular attentions is paid to the organizational structure of the land management on the state, regional, district and municipal levels, as well as the study of the processes of land management and use of land resources for different purposes.

Section III is considered the system of Ukrainian legislation in the area of compulsory purchase of land units of private property. The order of the expropriation of private property land units, determining the amount of compensation to owners and users of land parcels at the alienation for public needs, or for reasons of social necessity are shown.

LAND MANAGEMENT. VOLUME 2. ECONOMIC OF LAND USE

A tutorial has been prepared within the framework of the international project Tempus IV «Development of New Land Governance Studies in Macedonia and Ukraine» ("LAGOS") 159184-2009-TEMPUS-SE-JPCR in the period from 15.01.2010 year till 14.01.2013 year.

A tutorial includes four sections.

Section І involves the important aspects of rent relations in the economic system of land use, economic and methodological basics of urban land use, issues of state regulation of the land recourses economy and the theory of land capital.

Section II contains materials that are aimed at mastering the basics of sustainable functioning of the land and real estate market, management of market relations and the ability to analyze and implement the technology to market valuation of real estate needs.

Section III is devoted to the monetary valuation of real estate as a necessary condition for the implementation of paid nature of the use of the resource, the conclusion of civil contracts concerning real estate, definition of costs and damages that require reimbursement at the alienation of land units by the land owners and land users.

The theoretical basics and practical examples of the using GIS for the monetary land valuation are considered in section IV.

LAND MANAGEMENT. VOLUME 3. CADASTRAL ACTIVITY AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS

A tutorial has been prepared within the framework of the international project Tempus IV «Development of New Land Governance Studies in Macedonia and Ukraine» ("LAGOS") 159184-2009-TEMPUS-SE-JPCR in the period from 15.01.2010 year till 14.01.2013 year.

Cadastral activity is basic of the effective use and management of land resources of Ukraine.

The first section refers to the legislative provision of cadastre and cadastral activities. The legal basics of cadastre maintenance in Ukraine are considered. The unit of land cadastre is legally defined – the land parcel, its legal aspects as an object of property. The legal definition of the land unit boundaries and the legal basics of procedure is given the cadastral surveys is given. The system of state registration of land parcels and property rights on real estate and encumbrance is shown.

State Land Cadastre is based on the results of measurements corresponding to the accuracy and detail. Therefore, the second section is devoted to the consideration of the main sources of the spatial metric information that is used to generate documentation of real estate cadastre. The modern technical facilities and technologies of land boundaries surveys, the methods of using of remote sensing are considered.

Today volumes of cadastral information are significant and require the mandatory use of modern computer equipment and information technology. This complex issue is devoted to the third section of a tutorial, which considered information and software basics of land information systems, using of GIS analysis of the cadastral data and the Internet technology.

A tutorial has been prepared within the framework of the international project Tempus IV «Development of New Land Governance Studies in Macedonia and Ukraine» ("LAGOS") 159184-2009-TEMPUS-SE-JPCR in the period from 15.01.2010 year till 14.01.2013 year.

A tutorial includes four sections.

Section I. The materials on the legal course “Legislation of natural resources” is shown. The theoretical basics of natural resources and legal principles of their using, keeping and reproduction are considered.

Section II. The content of this section is devoted to the formation of knowledge and understanding of the main theoretical, methodological, organizational, legal, economic, ecological and social basics of sustainable development of land use in Ukraine and methodological basics of the assessing such development.

Section III. It includes theoretical material by the technique of spatial planning of rural settlements for the formation of the planning documentation and resolution of issues regarding provision of the effective land use, regulation of the land relations, adjustment of the interests of landowners.

Section IV. The materials in this section consist of the theoretical foundations of scientific and methodological approaches of land consolidation and development of practical skills to develop land consolidation projects within the rural areas.

A tutorial has been prepared within the framework of the international project Tempus IV «Development of New Land Governance Studies in Macedonia and Ukraine» ("LAGOS") 159184-2009-TEMPUS-SE-JPCR in the period from 15.01.2010 year till 14.01.2013 year.

A tutorial includes two sections.

The master's program provides of the training of future professionals in the field of intellectual activity, so the Section I covers the following issues: selection of research topic, the methodology of scientific research, the formulation of the research results and publication, invention, intellectual property rights and their protection.

Section II is designed for studying the basics of organization and management of large volume projects. This section contains the following information: organizational structure and planning of the project, cost planning and budget management, management of risks and quality, software of the project management.
